The 5,060 square foot office building provides the spaces necessary for the Twin Valley Telephone Company to provide on-site customer services for its telephone clients. The building provides office spaces for the employees and includes a conference room equipped with video conferencing capabilities. Heating and cooling is provided by a ground coupled water source heat pump system. The project included a Central Office Switch room and a 150 KW standby emergency generator. Construction included wood studs and CMU load-bearing interior and exterior walls featuring natural limestone and clay masonry brick veneer. The exterior of the building was required to be reviewed by the Kansas State Historical Society due to the proximity of surrounding, existing historical buildings.
